The legal protection of the Utility model is granted through registration. Not deemed for Utility models:
Discoveries, scientific theories and mathematical methods,
results from artwork;
Plans, rules and methods for intellectual activity, for games or office activity and computer programs;
presentation of information;
Not granted for utility models:
Methods, decisions which commercial use violates the public order and good manners; chemical compounds or their use; Use of the human embryo for industrial and commercial purposes; Plant sorts and animal breeds; product consisting of or comprising biological material.
The term of activity of the registration of the Utility model is four years of the date of the submission of the application. It may be prolonged for two consecutive periods of three years and total term of protection is ten years of the date of submission of the application.
The registered Utility model has territorial activity.
